    Hey,

Was just wondering if anyone knows what the story is with getting SPSS for your personal laptops? Do you buy it personally or can you get in through Computer Services. I'll be starting it in September for 2nd year and its a year long module so its pretty important.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks
    Ash

You can buy it but it's probably extremely expensive. And I know in the maths department the version we have is licenced to run on personal PCs. You'll probably just have to use a PC in a lab somewhere that has a version.

It's on all PC's on campus as far as I know.

If you get a laptop from college, it's on that too.

You can download a free 3 week trial if you're really stuck though.

It's definitely on the computers within the Arts' Block and Rye Hall PACRs, but not on every computer on campus. It's not necessary to purchase it at all, though; it'd be handy, sure, but not so much so to merit the expense.
