Lads not so technically mind so any help would be great. Just looking for a 32 inch tv (old tv went bust 10 days ago and my eyes are sore from watching on the blasted 12 inch one I had spare) Don't have a hd sky box(might get one in he future) but that doesn't matter even if I buy a hd ready tv does it?. Wanna stick a dvd player into the tv too. Any recommendations as to wat kinda basics specs I need to look out for when I go to buy a new tv?

Sorry if this is completely thick.

I found when I get a standard UPC box with my HD telly that quite a few stations had the blurred feeling, I got a HD box from UPC and the difference is remarkable, It now works so much better.

You should have a look at adverts.ie, you may find one cheaper, We got ours in Argos (worth a look too) we went for 37".

I found this thread really useful, take a look
