    Hi Guys

Im looking for some advice for travelling to Japan.

Im currently on a year away and have been around south america and am now in Australia. On the way home was thinking of going to Japan, China, Vietnam and China.

Has anyone travelled in Japan and what do they think? Good place to go? Will only have about 10 days there.

    Cheers

    Japan is bloody amazing!!!

For some reason i had always wanted to go there, and recently i was working in korea and thought...feck it, while im 'in the area' i might as well head on over.

I went to Osaka and i loved every second of it. It really is a completely different world over there - its great. the people and places are so unique. they are possibly the most polite nation youll ever meet, they practically hug you as you leave the shops :D. there is zero crime (bit of prostitution, but a couple whores never hurt anyone....)...and the place is alive 24/7

It is very very expensive tho...so beware. they have top notch trains and transport etc...but expect to pay in the hundreds :( for long journeys.

I went on a day trip to kyoto aswell...highly recommended if you have time.

i am defo going back at some stage of my life, wanna check out tokyo!! i've heard nothing but good things about it. if you had to only go to one place (which is prob all you'll be able to afford)...i would say prob get the most crazyness from tokyo

If in two minds about going -- just do it!!! Cant recommend the place enough :)

I was going to go on my trip but couldn't fit it in. Wish I had now! I've never been but I definitely think you should go for it.
