Felt like a proper cyclist yesterday. As someone who'd gladly pull the covers back over my head if there was even a hint of rain, I've recently become less of a wuss and headed out in the drizzle with the sole aim of doing some climbing and breaking 100km for the first time ever.

So after almost 4 hours in the saddle, most of it in the pissing rain, I even take a detour to make sure that when I climb up the steep little f*cker of a hill about 1.5k from home, the odo is reading 99km. Just as I reach the crest...pfffftttt. Puncture.

    The walk doesn't count - I'm still a 100km virgin.

I think the walk home does count, it's rider and bike have to cross the line, well done :D
