Was in the local shop and two young lads from Dublin wearing Dublin shirts buying smokes were before me. As soon as they left the shop keeper a suspecious type whispered to me " Probably be robbed later tonight" Why do us country folk still think like this?

You should go back to the shop with acid, tie up the shopkeeper and pour acid in his eyes, mouth and ears all whilst wearing a Dublin Jersey shouting really loudly

"WHERE'S THE FVCKING METRO" in a Dublin accent?

It was probably the crowbar and gloves sticking out of their back pockets that gave him the mad notion.

To be honest the lads wearing the Dublin shirts were the ones that were robbed.

Haha, that's funny. Didn't think people thought like that.

Reminds me of the time I was working in a pub near Croke Park and two lads with Tipp jersesy came in looking to buy food and drink...no wait, they didn't. They brought their own hang sangwiches and ate them from the back of their car, the mean b*stards ;)

Could possibly be to do with the fact that the pubs around Croke Park charge phenomenal prices for the same 'hang sandwiches' with a few 'posh' crisps beside it and they also probably didnt fancy queuing up for half the day.
    home-made hang sandwich-1euro
    packet of taytos-50cent
    bottle of fanta-1.50
    look on bar mans face-priceless:D

How do you mean? They're already 20 years behind the times by the sound of it.

Ah here, if you consider crisps "posh" you're meaner than I thought :D

Don't take it personally. I was going to say Cavan but nobody would believe they were anywhere near Croke Park

Not telling you but will probably be on the next Crimeline. Anyway the last time this gent got robbed was by a local genius who was stopped by the guards at 12.30am the night in question and had no insurance. He then proceeded to rob the shop but cut himself so badly on glass if ended up in hospital. It didnt take long for the guards to break the case. At court if pleaded with the Judge that he had to pay for his insurance so needed to rob the shop. An all round idiot

Those lads wearing the Dublin jerseys are really from Mayo.In a plot of Byzantine proportions two innocent Dubliners will get arrested and have their home-countys name further besmirched.
Meanwhile,in their secret mountain base somewhere on Achill ,the Machiavellian Mayomen congratulate themselves whilst sorting through their ill-gotten gains.Turning to their assembled henchmen they triumphantly declare:
'It was hard work but we ll be having raspberry ripple tonight lads'
