Suggest a Hobby for me

Yep, I'm bored. Bored bored boards bored. So I need a hobby, but there's a problem. Finishing things is not my style, and I need to break that habit. Something interesting and finicky would be nice (building balsa aircraft or r/c stuff that doesn't involve weekends to Kerry.)

Go nuts (btw I've tried that and it's not a great hobby). And looking for a job is not a hobby, it's serious stuff.

Take your TV apart blindfolded and then try to reassemble before the World Cup?

Buy a copy of Blue Ireland - that could get finickety.

Making cup cakes seems to be all the rage (I don't know why)

Loads of ideas there - get to it son

They are a rarity seen in public these days, especially if they are FF/Green ones. :pac:

Bonus points if you actually see one on foot walking anywhere more than 100 yards or on a public transport!

Easier, yer hole. The way I prefer to put it: the learning curve on bass might not be as steep, but it still goes up all the way. It's the instrument of choice if you like music, and have evolved beyond hitting things with sticks, but aren't a self-obsessed narcissist who thinks the sun shines out of your soundhole. Just don't call it "bass guitar" ...

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

―Oscar Wilde predicting Social Media, in The Picture of Dorian Gray
