Hey guys, I'm just about to buy a bike. I think I'm getting a hybrid. I was looking at the Trek 7.2 and noticed that there is no suspension. I don't plan on going off-road, but wouldn't suspension be needed on bumpy roads?? I thought Hybrids were supposed to be able to be used on road and off road, no? Thanks for the help guys, appreciate the help.

EDIT: What about simple transitions from road to footpath etc, or cycling down a few steps? Should I get a bike with suspension?
