Ah, well at least it wasn't a shock and he was around to to see his star put on the walk-of-fame recently.

His career was all over the shop but he left a lasting presence in cinema and will be remembered for the good he did in the industry.

He did something like 200 movies, I'd imagine Speed was in the top 10%
