so lets get this forum started, what are we expecting for season 3,

i deffinately want to see olivia causing mayhem in the alt timeline, opening doorways everywhere, sink a few bridges,

i personally think peter is still with walternate and is waiting for that machine to be built, it will either be built on there side and sent here for will just be built here, and when its ready peter will try to activate it, with possible consequences being the destruction of our universe,

i think astrid might milk the cow :D

I'm personally sickened by the ending of the second series. I really really didn't want to see peter and olivia do the whole "because of me"/"because of you" bull ****.

I suppose because it alt-olivia they wont have that chemistry so it wont matter in the end

Yeah, but undoubtedly it will take Peter about 5 episodes to realise the obvious.

I thought the last episode of season 2 was amazing, however predictable the Peter and Olivia part was. Thank god this series has been renewed by ABC! I can't wait for the next season though, it has really picked up since season 2.

I predict that it will take them some time to realize that the Olivia in their world is not the same Olivia, and likely the person to make the connection will be Peter.

Want to see more of the alternate universe, and I reckon Walternate is lieing about what caused the problems in his world.

Where's everyone on this? Is season 2 over? I just watched "Over there, part 2"

yes season 2 is over, over there was the last episode, where
altivia came back and olivia is locked up
    over there

Def want to see some more of the alt universe and what really caused the problems over there as I have a feeling Alter-Walter is lying about our Walter crossing over to take Peter started all of it.

Only hope they do not drag out the whole Alt-Olivia thing too much even though our Olivia has told her a few of the essentials to get by so far such as Rachel, Ella and she knows how much Peter means to Olivia.

My guess will be either 1) Peter and Alt Olivia will sleep together and he will notice the tataoo on her neck and hopefully put that IQ of his to use and guess she is not the real Olivia or 2) they will need her to use her powers and when she is not able this will cause suspicions to be raised.

Love to see a season in the Alterinate Universe. If Olivia from our side was killed off over there at the end of season 2 now that would have been a season end shocker!!!!.
Have the Alt-Olivia come across as she has and go from there.

I totally lost interest halfway through season 2. Don't get me wrong its very intriguing with all the spectacular feats of science......some are even believable.

Its just so confusing  I want to get back into it but to be honest I think It'd be easier to learn ancient Egyptian algebra.

One problem Fringe had in the first two seasons was its inability to deliver a good episode after a cliffhanger ending. The mid-season break in s1 had a solid cliffhanger, this was pretty much ruined by a poor return. Same with the end of series 1 running into the start of series 2. The end of the second series was OK, but they'll probably feck it up with the start of s3.

Sure that happened with most of the X files two parters.. a massive build up of intrigue in the first parts and then a big anti climatic ending in the second part!

true! Just like Lost. THE FINALE!!! WORLDS WILL BE BROKEN, EYES WILL BE OPENED..THE MOST AMAZING SPECTACULAR TELEVISON EVENT OF THE 21st CENTURY IS HERE!!!.......................no....they all go in a church and the audience gets blinded by a bright light. If they wanted to end with a metaphor they should've had their plane "crash and burn"

Hi folks, any idea if any Irish channels or freesat channels will be showing Fringe. I recently ditched sky and this was one of the few programs I watched on sky one.

    Cheers

TV3/3e have showed Fringe since the beginning. They started showing it waaaaaaay before Sky1 so i'd reckon it'll be shown here on 3e before Sky1 again

That promo looks all sorts of amazing! I'm so excited for this to return. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to who the shadow is in the poster? William Bell perhaps?

I'm starting to think that it aint gonna be back on 3. There was an ad on last week previewing the shows for Autumn on 3e/TV3 and there was no Fringe. It even showed Family Guy and The Cleveland Show so it doesnt look good. You can always watch it on Sky1, tuesdays at 10 or just watch online.
