    No doubt more details will leak out. Nothing to get excited about in any event though The Limits of Liberty could be interesting.

    As for
    Other new series include Life With , which will follow people with life-changing illnesses, and Skippers , a series about life on trawlers.

    In the lifestyle genre, there will be more food shows, including Take on the Take-Away in which chefs must try and beat the quality of take-away restaurants.

    Celebrity chefs Kevin Thornton and Derry Clarke even feature in Tracks and Trails a series about Ireland’s walks.

    RTE yet again ripping off other channels formats without blushing.

    All channels are rubbish during the summer. Not enough people watching for schedulers to care.

    True, the likes of RTE and BBC must quietly celebrate the World Cup and Olympics as its saves them so much work.
