Oh ffs, stop being so needy. You're really young aren't ya? Just enjoy life instead of putting pressure on yourself that isn't even necessary - because I guarantee you will regret wasting your youth on this sh1te in years to come. Plus, "single girls of Ireland misery"? Sorry, but you don't speak for all the single women of Ireland. It's only misery if you make it - and if you don't believe in yourself. Build up your confidence to be happy with YOU instead of desperately trying to find a boyfriend (the latter is not attractive) THEN you'll find they're attracted to you. Do stuff you enjoy, concentrate on all aspects of your social life - not just the finding a guy bit, make yourself look well (gives a confidence boost as well as attracting the opposite sex), be a decent person (without being a doormat). But don't put on an act - it's simple to spot. Being you is the best you can be - if there are areas that need to be worked on (like improving self esteem) that's one thing, but shaping your personality into something that it's not, well that's forced and exhausting.

It seems like the most important thing in the world right now, but you will look back and wonder what the hell the rush and pressure was all about. You have years. Also, the social environment in college (if you're going) is competely different to that in school. There's still immaturity and politics, but far less, and plenty of maturity too. It's far more conducive to forming relationships.

Btw, no, not all women are sick of trying to guess - it's pretty straightforward what a guy wants in a girl: whatever he's attracted to. Generally speaking, universally attractive traits are: friendliness, sense of humour (especially a self deprecating one), and looking well physically, as in making the best of yourself, not needing to look like Jessica Alba. Do you wear make-up that accentuates your best features? Style/colour your hair to look great? Wear clothes that make the best of your shape? Maybe have a look at these things - and to hell with what's in "fashion". Whatever looks good on you personally is the thing to go for.

You'll get guys who say stuff like "I only date women with x physical feature" - solution to that if you don't have such a physical feature? Avoid guys like that.

Its not what we want in a girl. Its what she already has. I wouldn't want a woman changing who she is just to make me like her.

I would like a girl to be 'herself'.
Nice personality, be independent, have her own hobbies and interests, gsoh, fun, sincere, honest, loyal, my best friend.

Thats about it really, excellent post all round,desperation/clingyness is a major turn off(for both sexes i think its fair to say)

I could say all the boring things but below is what I found to be also important:

Personally if I am honest; need a girl <= size 10 because they will add a size when they reach 30 or thereabouts.

Girl who is keen to give oral because that is a sign she actually has a sex drive.

LC2010HIS - your user name implies that you are doing your LC this year. Am I correct?

If that is the case, then you are young. Sorry to break this news to you, but you haven't experienced a fraction of the woe and misery that life is capable of throwing at you.

Right now, concentrate on being you! Become comfortable in your own skin. Stop looking for a camaderie ("single girls of Ireland") that doesn't exist. At this stage in your life, you most definitely do not need to define yourself by a man.
