    Yep.

    Here's my favourites:

Kurtwood Smith played the Federation president in Star Trek VI:

...and Annorax in Voyager's best double-feature, Year of Hell:

...and my favourite characters outside Trek:

I was watching Season 3 of Murder She Wrote recently and within the space of few episode there was Captain Janeway, Sulu, Odo, Geordi LaForge, and of course Jessica's nephew was a security officer in FC and INS!

I don't really like DS9 but Odo (Rene Auberjonois) is great in Boston Legal.

He was great in The Practice where I think he played a different judge going on about the 'monkeys on the backs' of the criminals!

I remember Robert Picardo in Gremilns 2 back in 1990.

Tom Paris was in the ultra-epic Masters of the Universe (with Dolph Lundgren and Courtney Cox).

Alexander Siddig (Bashir) had a few small roles---tiny one in Reign of Fire, substantial and enjoyable one in Syriana.

Older people will remember him from Benson (134 episodes, 1980-1986) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0041281/

Had a nice role in Kingdom of Heaven.

Terrible in the cinema, the Directors cut is quite good though

As Primeval is now being filmed in Ireland, keep an eye out for Bashir on the streets of Dublin as he joined the cast of that tv show!!

Andrew Robinson (Garak) also played a mad barber in one of the Child's Play movies. Could have been the third one, but I didn't kill any kids after, so I'm not sure.

Avery Brooks played a character called Hawk in a bunch of made for TV movies and a TV show in the 80s called Spenser for Hire. Shouty black man with a big gun. Basically Sisko from season four minus the uniform.

Dax was also in Hellraiser 3.

Quark is also in Boston Legal as a judge.

Odo has been in loads of stuff, but I can only remember MASH. He's a lot older than the other cast, so it's shocking when I spot him. The Odo makeup really did wonders for him.

I'd really like to see Martok in something.

Zek was in Law & Order once.

Played the older mentor in American History X also

Zek (Wallace Shawn) is actually one of the most recognisable of all recurring characters in Star Trek.

Given that he was in Princess Bride, Clueless, Toy Story 1-3, Mosters Inc, The incredibles and Family guy. He was in some Woody Allen movie also, I believe

The man has one of the most recognisable voices in TV/Film

Brent Spiner (Data) played a part in Independence Day

Hey!!! Keep your fantasies about Garak and Ensign Kim to yourself!!!!

BTW wasn't Odo in Batman Forever?
And one of the officers on the Excelsior (the one who woke Sulu up) was in The Wizard...

Suprised no one has mentioned Commander Tomalak being G'Kar in Babylon 5 and Sykes in The Fugitive.

[edit] The other one I always forget about is Kirsten Dunst playing the child telepath who reminded Lwaxana of her dead kid.

Wouldnt it be the best thing ever if there was a spin off show about Garak before he appeared on Terok Nor.

Denise Crosby starred in Pet Cemetary

John Billingsley has had many guest roles including one recently on the new series of Scrubs: Medical School

Patrick Stewart stars in many plays as we all know, but he also starred in a movie with Pierce Brosnan. I think it was called Death Train? He has also done voice work on The Simpsons and Family Guy.

The officer that woke Captain Sulu up on the Excelsior, thats actually Christian Slater who is in fact almost as big a Trekkie as I am :p

Nana Visitor was in Dark Angel for the last season. She has also done some voice work in Family Guy.

Michael Dorn had a role in an episode of The Outer Limits. He was also a recurring character on CHiPs
