Alarms, keeping firearms

I am interested in starting target shooting, not particularly competitive,
possibly something around .223 or even a classic(One rifle).
For Two restricted firearms or more than three non restricted, I am wondering what type of alarm is required?
    according to this link
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/announcement.php?f=1021
It just says alarm fitted, external locks to BS3621, and safe to BS7558
It only seems to suggest a PSA alarm needs to be fitted for more than this?

Am I ok with, locks(BS3621) safe(BS7558) and my existing alarm? will I have a chance of getting a licence this way?
I haven't joined a club yet, I want to find out as much information first before outlaying money and then finding I cant get a licence.
