Hi all, I'm debating going for either PPL microlight or the regular PPL,I'm just wondering if I get the microlight (fixed wing) license and later decide to go for PPL will the microlight license count at all towards the PPL or would I have to start from scratch?

10% of your PPL(M) time to a max of 10 hours can be discounted towards a PPL(A).

where are you based? See www.ultraflight.ie and check out the microlights there; why would you go for a more expensive PPL(A) when you can fly those!
