Wireless Heartrate Monitor

    Hi,

I've tried a heartrate monitor chest strap unit, and found it relatively uncomfortable.

Can anyone recommend a mid range wireless (i.e. watch only) heart rate monitor?

No need for GPS or mapping as I use my iPhone for that.

    Cheers

I tried one from LIDL, and the results seemed OK'ish (only worked at a point in time, rather than storing consecutive results). If you want something reliable, a chest-based HRM is probably the best way to go, unfortunately. Polar are known to be the market leaders in this field (I believe, could be wrong).

I believe there are some running tops / ladies bra-type wear that have the HRM built in (or support to have a HRM built-in, so that might be an area for you to explore.
