the girlfriend went to the bank the other day to but lira and was told they dont do it and it was the same in other banks?

do we still try to get lira and bring it with us?

do we bring euro with us and chang it over there or will they even do that?

if we put our cash onto the credit cards the money wont be on the cards till next week?

If you have a Laser card with the Maestro sign on it which most have then you can use it in ATM machines. My advice is take out a fair amount as most irish banks like to charge quite a bit for getting your own money.
You will also get a better rate changing your euro over in turkey. We go over quite a bit and that what we do.

The Euro is king in Turkey. Bring enough, rent a safe and enjoy your holiday. Oh! Shop around for better exchange rates - your hotel will probably give less.

Buy a load of gold out there.
