    Hi guys,

My iPod Touch took a knock on wednesday. I was using it to DJ our Grad Party (ITM DJ as a MIDI interface to Deckadance if anyones interested) which worked brilliantly. Unfortunately a mate pulled me into the mosh about 2 hours in, and me having consumed 700mls of Rum I wasnt able to retain the pod as a flailing hand made contact. It fell from about 10 ft and hit the stone edging of a flowerbed:eek: When I picked it up I was glad to see it uncracked but then I removed the rubber. It was jamming the UP Volume button but that seems to have stopped right now, but its still not very easy to use:rolleyes:

I'm guessing that accidental damage like this isnt covered? That said a friend sat on her iPhone while not paying insurace and yet they replaced it. I also have the problem that I didnt buy it and dont have the receipt.

If I have to repair it where's the cheapest Apple Authorized repair centre or are prices standardised accross the board? If it comes to a replacement I'll forget it and get me a HTC.

    Thanks,
    Lethal.
