Your destination is Santander, Spain, where you can enjoy world-famous local food - including tapas and fresh seafood, shopping, casinos and a beautiful beachfront. All guests have the option of extending their stay in Santander for between 2 and 5 nights at very competitive rates in Brittany Ferries approved three and four-star hotels.

The ship leaves from either Portsmouth or Plymouth, and returns to the alternative port of departure. It is valid until March 31st 2011 so you have plenty of time to organise your holiday. The only costs you have to pay are £9.50 port fees per person and optional travel insurance.

£6 + £9.50 per person port fees + cost of getting to plymouth/portsmouth + travel insurance if you don't have your own already + supplements for less than 4 people

and that's same day return sailings, unless you pay for what are probably outrageously priced hotels in Santander

They are all costs you'd have to factor in even if it was £600.00. I imagine a UK based boardsie might find this worthwhile.

yeah , but it shows that the £6 cruise that the thread title suggests is way way off the mark

Do you expect him to put all of the extra fees in the thread title ? When someone posts a bargain cinema price, do you expect them to factor in bus or fuel fare in getting to the cinema ? Babysitting wage to pay the babysitter ?Some people are so anal it drives me bloody insane.

Not being a 'grouch' but this is excellent value if you were looking to get the ferry anyway. I wouldn't call it a cruise though, you are on a ferry, nothing more.

Thats the flagship, nice enough but still a ferry.

That's the ship that serves the Cork- Roscoff route.
It is just a ferry - but it is the best ferry I have ever been on. Staff are obviously very proud of their company and their ship. Everything is sparkling clean and well laid out.

Food is good - for a ferry - but not cheap.

If they had some similar deal out of Cork I'd be very tempted!
