Havin a problem with the HD set top box, when I had the old SD box when I powered it on the tv no mattter the channel would go to AV1 automattically.

Now with the HD box it doesn't do this, when I power this one on I get no picture and have to get up pull the hdmi cable from the back of the TV and stick it back in again to get the picture.

I'm guessing it's my TV (cheap = crap) and not the box,

Does your box automattically go to hdmi when you turn on your HD box?????

Sounds like it might be related to this problem. One work around is to turn the box on first and then the tv.

I dont think this is an issue with your tv; I have a pretty decent Sony Bravia and mine doesnt automatically go onto the appropriate channel when I turn on my Chorus HD+ box, and more of then than not when I turn on the box after the tv has been turned on, Ill have to change to a different HDMI channel and then back to the tv channel in order to make is display.

have a samsung b650 & no problems turning on either the tv or box first. turning the tv on first, it goes straight to hdmi but can take a sec or 2 for pic to come through, similar to turning the monitor on before the computer. maybe a little slow on the epg. otherwise, great box.
