Steven Casey, from Oilgate in County Wexford, was knocked to the ground by Kaitlin's Fancy, a first-fence faller in the 3m1f handicap chase, after she jumped a closed and manned five-bar ambulance gate that separates the enclosures from the racetrack and galloped into the betting ring.

Yes, a ryans cleaner almost was hit before him, shocking incident. Only for Peter O'Heir warning people in his commentary surely it would have been worse, just as well it wasnt too busy on the night, imagine if it was in fest week. Maybe there's a case to be made for lead horses at each track like the States, even three would do, to lead the headcases down to the start and catch the loose ones.
