    passed this in tesco today ..LG 42" Full hd 1080p was €899 down to €569.99 LG 3000 ... not sure if it a good tv but its a big drop so i said i'd post it up.. tesco ardkeen.. they also had Phillips earphones for €2.27

    not to rain on anyones parade here but ive had bad reports from a firm in cork who specialise in fixing modern tvs,i had a wee problem with my Samsung LED,spoke to the firm assigned to fix it(its under guaranty) and bloke was very surprised,it bieng a samsung,said most of his work is from LG products. just passing on what i was tld 2 weeks ago.

    thay had other Phillips earphones for €7 to or around that price anyway

    Not bad. The Senn CX300IIs go for 12 online every now and then but at the rate I go through earphones its good to have a few spair ones that arent those bloody apple things.

    For what it's worth my bro has that TV.

    Very good screen - impressed with it - also has the MPEG4 tuner for RTE Digital / DTT.

    Can't go far wrong at the price imho.

    Power City have had this TV for €550 for the last few months. Bought it myself in January and im very happy with it. Nice big bright picture and the sound is excellent. ;)
