Ultra-lightweight trousers

I'm planning a biking tour and wondering if you would have any ideas where I could get ultra-lightweight full length trousers for the evening. Really the only criteria is that they don't look absolutely awful and are as light as possible. As to aesthetics I'm really not picky; as long as they aren't bike tights, I won't be wearing them out to Michelin-starred restaurants.

I have some linen ones that could be an option but I'm sure there might be something out there is a modern/synthetic fabric that might be lighter.

As light as possible; continental Europe next month so shouldn't be too cold and if it is I will have knee warmers I can put on underneath.

Given the lack of replies I'll suggest Craghoppers pants - not ultra lightweight but light enough for hot weather and they dry very quickly.

There are a couple of other options on that site but I've no experience of them. Your local camping store should have a good range of pants but they can be upwards of €70 in some cases. TK Maxx generally store Craghoppers for about €25 but Jackson Sports should provide free postage and they are based in NI so they're quite fast.
