can wifi app be installed on a ph without wifi

    can a wireless app be installed on a phone that does not have wifi

    or does wifi have to be integrated with the ph for it to work

    you need wifi in the phone for wifi to work. it's a hardware component and not a software one.

    On a laptop its poss, there is an internal slot on laptops into which u fit a wireless pci card, reckon it may be poss on certain models of phone with the appropiate slot, or what about USB attached wifi connection ? if your phone has a usb slot

    Thats totally different, and defeats the purpose. It would be cheaper and handier to get a handset that is wlan compatible

    It should be possible on some winmo phones as well,since they are compatible with a microsd card with builtin wifi chipset.
