Insane! 86 mph on a lawnmower

    Last weekend Project Runningblade set a new speed record for lawn mowers at Pendine Sands, South Wales. Driven by Don Wales, this modified lawn mower managed to reach a speed of 86 mph (137 km/h). That’s 11 km/h faster than the previous record.

    What next? Project Runningblade is going after 100 mph (160 km/h)! Impressive considering this modified lawn mower can still cut grass.
