Can anyone recommend a good internet phone and fax service?

I'd ideally like phone calls forwarded to my i-phone when I'm out of the office. I only fax once a month but I need to be able to send and receive faxes.

    Thanks!

I looked into that but Blueface isn't compatable with i-phones..

Do you know what the quality of Skype is like for business calls?

    Cheers,

    Claire

You wanted to forward calls to a number and a fax service.

Why cant Blueface forward calls to your iphone, you're just forwarding an incoming call to your office number to you mobile number whether its an iphone or any other type of phone shouldnt matter. To be forwarding the calls you would still need a phone in the office which would be the one blueface set you up with which would be an internet phone setup and also allow you to have a fax to email service so I would have thought they would suit what you want. Did you contact them and ask them about it, or maybe I am misunderstanding what you require.

Not sure on the qaulity of skype to be honest, depends on your connection but after that it should be ok.

    op

    blueface works for me;

All my calls are forwarded to my mobile (iphone) through their account settings on their website.

I love the fax option where I send/receive faxes using my outlook mail

I use Fring on my iphone to make calls from my blueface account when i'm in a wifi zone

The system works for me as I am never in my base office.

used skype and hated it, if you close the skype app on your iphone it logs you out so pointless.

    Hi,
I agree with "Boom Boom" Blueface works for me on my iPhone via WiFi. I use Fring and VNET (vnet-corp.com). When I'm in my SoHo I use a set of Siemens Gigaset C450ip phones. Voice quality is great.

When ever I'm logged out of my BlueFace service or out of WiFi cover any voice messages are e-mailed to me, again on my iPhone.

For any international calls while I'm out and about, in Ireland, I call 01 5242029 from my mobile. I get free calls as part of my mobile tariff and only pay the Blueface rate for the international portion. Again quality has always been great.

On the fax front you can use a fax machine directly on the Blueface service, or you can fax a doc directly from Outlook by sending an e-mail via their fax service. The "To Address" should be <phone no>@fax.blueface.ie. Have a look at http://www.blueface.ie/services/fax.aspx for all the details.

    Hope this helps.

    Andy

PS No I don't work for Blueface I'm just a happy customer.
