NCT Question

Apologes if this has been asked before but here goes:

I have an upcoming NCT next week. I know I will currently fail as my rear bumper is a bit dented and loose on one side. I am currently seeking a replacement bumper.

If I go ahead with the test next week *without* sorting out / replacing the rear bumper, can I expect:
    a) the centre to still go through the full test, or
    b) would they take one look at the bumper and send me away?

If (a), then at least I would get an idea of any additional quirks which may need to be looked at before a retest (also quite likely), and during the time before retest I would hoopefully also be able to replace rear bumper.

If (b) then I don't learn anything about additional things which may need looking at to pass the test.

Any advice greatly appreciated, I should note that the current bumper is probably not fixable and does need to be replaced, but finding a replacement is proving more difficult than I expected.

    jAH

    they will test your car......

what i would do with my car is,let it through the test and if it needs sorting then you'll know what needs fixing.....ok. GL
