Okay, so about two months ago (April 17th) Channel 4 confirmed they had begun the filming of their hit comedy The Inbetweeners. According to Wikipedia (an unreliable source I know) the series is due to premiere on Thursday June 17th. (I figure it shouldn't be too long before it's being advertised on C4 itself, I'll ask a mod to change the title then).

What's everyone looking forward to the most about this series? For me it's probably the hilarious one liners that's imo the funniest thing about the show (there's alot more :pac:).
Overall ratings have been growing as the show progressed and I hope this continues, as does the overall quality of the show. (Hey there's even been a movie version confirmed - They all head to Malaga for an end of school lad's holiday).

Hopefully this thread will keep going until it starts and then we can discuss the episodes and all the crazy antics the boys get up to ;)

Terrible airing time for the best show on tv. Everyone is on holidays in summer. They won't get half the audience. I know I'll only see the first episode and then miss the next 2/3.

Only came to this show after the first 2 series had aired and got to watch all episodes in a few days and both myself and my wife loved it. One of the best comedies in a long time. The chemistry of the main cast is fantastic and like it was said above, the one liners really make it click. Can't wait for the new series!

Sorry lads.. ye've a bit longer to wait. Here's a clip from FATV with Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and James Buckey and Simon Bird confirms it won't be on our screens til September about 30 seconds into the first clip.

    Missing Will and Jay....

    Will - Well that's a touching sentiment
    Jay - I'd touch your mum's sentiment
Will - That doesn't mean anything
Jay - It means i'd touch her arse . . . with my cock!!

I am... and am not.. a fan of the idea!

While I'd love more of 'The Inbetweeners', I was a big fan of Kevin and Perry and Ali G before they released their respective movies.

It's a formula that rarely works..!

Can't wait for this, pity we have to wait until September though. The head of programming at E4 is obviously a total bumder.

Pfft.. "vulgar and juvenile"? You need new friends! :)

I'm 27 and it's vulgarness and juvenility is exactly why I watch it.
