There really isn't anything you can do to a Punto that will make it look even a little bit better....

Wheels and lowering is all I can suggest in way of modifying a Punto really.

    Crash it or burn it

None of which is helpful to the OP ...

A good place to start is an owners/enthusiasts club for cars. For your car, this site seems to be a great place to learn a little about modding a Punto

I'm getting fed up of pointless posts like that in this forum.

From now on it'll be one warning on thread and a weeks ban for not heeding that warning.

    iphone4g, consider this your warning.

Joke lads, cheer up for **** sake the country is depressed enough.

I thought it was an appropriate joke, and it was clearly a joke..
I think u need to lighten up a bit..

Should i expect a warning or a ban for that now?

Thats not the problem, the problem is that the same thing is posted every second day in here and its getting boring now, on top of that it doesn't add anything to the thread and invokes responses like the one below.

A Skyline is far from poxy and does not need to be "Done Up"

    Well that could be argued.

Technically a Skyline is a bog standard jap 4 door family saloon.

It's just that over here it never sold and people now only associatte Skyline with a powerful coupe. Whereas it's origins are no more special than a Toyata Avensis or Ford Mondeo.

    :p

i was going to ask you what year the punto was but i see you got infracted so wont be replying any time soon

anyways My girlfriend used to have an 05 sporting punto its looked decent enough very subtle factory mods done to it...

And as for all the fiat bashing i dont think ive ever drove a nipper car than her punto you could throw her into anything and be nearly garanteed it would come out the other side pointing the right way (ive come across some suituations where ive had to take drastic avoiding action and if it were most other cars would have ending in a smash) the wee car had loadsa bells and whistles, Traction control, stability control, hill start assist, 6 speed box ect ect.... i say dont knock them till you have tried them then you can comment on how good bad they are...

You need a load of infractions before you get banned, So he can reply.

I used to have a Sporting myself, I had. 01 one so it didn't have as much fancy stuff as previously mentioned. I think the sporting kit is lovely though, OP, why not try getting the sporting skirts and wheels, maybe a light tint on the windows and lower it slightly?

I agree, the Sporting Punto's look lovely and have recieved over the top bad rep thanks to typical Irish stereotyping.

I drove one of the 00 Punto Sportings, and I thought it was a cracking car to drive - maybe not the best interior finish, but a capable car!
