Before you all start running to the shop, they're the U.K. cans which have a 3.8% strength :(. Ok for a party or barbie if you want a lot or if you don't mind the lower strength. They have tons of them in my local Eurospar (Inchicore).

Forgot to say that they're the 500m cans and have an expiry date of 2011. :)

I don't mind the lower alc - in fact the lower it is the more I can drink!

If someone wants to get hammered there are cheaper effective ways than beer.

I agree, anything from around 3.5% - 4% does me nicely.

Makes a big difference the next morning!

That's a very good price for the full size Carlsberg cans.

Obriens have the regular full strength ones at the same price

^ That's the BUL by Guinness, is manky, nothing like Carlsberg, and is only 4.3%

Tesco Maynooth were doing *pint* cans of Carlsberg Export the other day at 4 for €2.42.

It is the BUL guinness but he is right in using the term "regular full strength" since it is what most carslberg drinkers here are used to drinking. Some might not like danish brewed carlsberg at all, just like many bud drinkers do not like beers that would rate highly on beer connoisseur sites.

Last time I got carlsberg export in tesco it was in 440ml cans and was 5% but was BUL in the UK. I prefered the guinness version than the UK one, both were not particularly bad or good, but I do not rate danish brewed carlsberg that highly either TBH.
