    Thanks for that Casey. Although I won't be back for a few years it is good to see there are some jobs available in teaching education at university level.

    Technically, it's not an 'embargo', but rather what the government terms the 'employment control framework' - details here.

    The framework was revised recently allowing universities more discretion in terms of recruitment; subject to some conditions, such as achieving a reduction in overall staffing levels. A good discussion of the framework can be found here.
