how to get a trading licence

    hi i was wondering how do i obtain a trading licence for festivals such as oxegen i am setting up a stand to sell drinks non alcoholic where do i get forms or how do i go about this. i already in the process of getting a space there and its looking promising all i need now is a trading licence

    AFAIK you apply for a casual trading licence to the local county council.

    and what are the laws on catering trailers we were thinking of getting a box trailer and converting it

    I think your question would be covered by this

    Specially Section 4 (1)(a)(iii)

    i assume you are talking about taking this trailer to matches etc.

    Otherwise you are confined to designated casual trading areas.

    If its food preparation i would assume you would have to have the vehicle check by someone for hygiene regulations, not sure who that is.

    If you were inside the venue i don't think you would need a Casual Trading Licence just a permit from the organizer, but if you were outside then a Casual Trading Licence.
