    I'm fairly sure it's "toe".

As a complete aside, as I type this, the song on my radio is Rocky Burnette's "Tired of Toein' the Line"

    More brave voices needed though!

    http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/usnews/politics/3606-democratic-congressman-joe-sestak-accuses-white-house-of-bribery

    Quote from New American article:

"Allegations that President Barack Obama offered Congressman Joe Sestak a “high-ranking” cabinet position in order for Sestak to drop out of the Senate race against Democratic incumbent Arlen Specter may prove to be detrimental to the Obama administration."

    Where's your voice?

Imagine if GW Bush’s White House would have said “Lawyers in the White House and others have looked into conversations that were had with Congressman Sestak... And nothing inappropriate happened.” Oh wait, that sorta did happen with CIA official Valerie Plame. And as I remember there was an official investigation. But not with this administration. The Attorney General won’t even look at it. So much for the Obama promises of "new levels of transparency," and promises of "no more business as usual.” And this story won’t seem to go away. So who is to fall on their sword while the prez goes golfing? Will Sestak continue to show the “right stuff?” Inquiring minds want to know. Lets face it folks, y’all were duped by this wily Chicago politician.

    Enjoy:

What in Christ's name are you talking about?

The Valerie Plame affair was the allegation that people inside the The Bush Administration publicly outed a CIA operative, an extremely serious offence. Former President and former head of the CIA George HW Bush said that intentionally revealing the identity of an undercover CIA agent was a crime tantamount to treason. The punishment for treason is death.

Only in the most idiotic of Tea Party minds is this affair in anyway comparable to the common political practice of offering post's to candidates to withdraw their candidacy.

After Attorney General Gonzalez, are we really trying to find outrage at one of his successors?

If true what should be done the those responsible in the Obama administration? And if it went to the top, impeachment maybe?

Sorry, you can’t stop the truth by sticking you head in the sand or by making light of a crime. From the Hannity show:

Dick Morris (former White House adviser to President Bill Clinton): “This scandal could be enormous." "It's Valerie Plame only 10 times bigger, because it's illegal and Joe Sestak is either lying or the White House committed a crime.” "Obviously, the offer of a significant job in the White House could not be made unless it was by Rahm Emanuel or cleared with Rahm Emanuel," If the job offer was high enough that it also had Obama's apppoval, "that is a high crime and misdemeanor."

Hannity: "In other words, an impeachable offense?"

    Morris: "Absolutely"

I think Dick Morris knows a little more about this subject than you or I.

I want to see some clip-responses of Hannity during the Gonzalez hearings.

Accuse the man of bias? Yes. Yes I will.

Who died and made Dick Morris god?

Seriously though, do you really think Obama possibly offering Sestak a job is a more serious offence than releasing the identity of a CIA agent? Or maybe you're upset because Obama is a dem and Bush is a republican(and a neantherdal).

Try to stay focused guys: Sestak... Bribe... White House... Crime! Only Barack Obama is allowed to blame GW Bush for everything he considers wrong.

(An aside, I hear the Obama administration regime is now starting to call this the “Bush Recession.” I’m also hearing that Germany is considering going off the Euro, and the EU might soon be looking at a break up. All brought on by the Bush Recession. Wouldn’t that be a kick in the pants if Bush broke up the EU. Reagan broke up the Soviet Union with his spending, and Bush breaks up the socialistic propensity of the EU with his spending. Brilliant!)

What Dick morris knows or does not know is utterly irrelevant. He's a cheap hack and he sold his soul to fox long ago. His comments carry no merit whatsoever with me.

This Fox news tactic of getting two of their stooges to "debate" with or "interview" each other is well known and the same cadre of idiots is regularly paraded in their various shows.

Also, if someone is basing their opinion on the Hannity show, then I don't see how it would be possible to have a rational discussion with them about it.

What are you talking about? How in the world is this not the Bush recession? George Bush and Congress destroyed almost every single Financial Regulation that they came across and while doing so, exploded the deficit by giving tax cuts to the rich and launching two wars. So tell me, how is this not the Bush recession?

Also the word "regime" is not an insult or slight in any way, shape or form. This tendency of the Right to take ordinary political concepts or terms and to attach some sort of sinister implication to them speaks volumes about their intellectual bankruptcy.

First it was communism. Which might be a failed form of government though the Chinese are the 2nd largest economy in the world right now.

Now we have socialism, as if it's some kind of dictatorial doctrine.

Liberalism. I was utterly shocked that anyone could consider someone who espouses "liberal" principles in a negative light because of those principles.

But this latest one takes the cake. "Regime," is a bad word now? This is the problem with America. Too many clueless idiots. If you can't even understand what such basic terms mean and stand for how can you have an opinion on politics and its infinite nuances?

I guess as long as you have a slogan to attach your ignorance to, that's all that matters.

    You have heard of TARP?
Is that the closest thing to an admission about Bushes spending?

I wonder if Sestak released full accounts of their conversations, would that be without any constitutional illegalities? I'm sure the man is ordering some protection as of now!

Do you know how often I've heard the term "Bush Regime?" So it was you guys that did this to me. So you only have yourselves to thank. ;)

It was the Bush regime or administration because he was the head of the government, now it's the Obama regime, or Obama administration. The word itself is completely innocuous. Seriously, look it up.

I don't need to. Yes "Regime" now has a negative meaning in US POLITICS. I'm not interested in the Dictionary Forum.

Sestak, although a Democrat, was an US admiral, and in my opinion, an honorable man. Yes he needs some protection, but from his own party methinks.

No it doesn't. Only in your fairy tale make up your own reality land. Regime is a neutral word. Again, look it up. If you really want to say that Obama is running a dictatorship, why don't you just say that and call it that?

Call it the Obama dictatorship. People might not agree with you but that's what you seem to be implying it is anyway. Saying that "regime" = "dictatorship"? That's just idiotic.
