Dont think Ive ever seen so many people on this Lost forum and Ive been reading it since season 1.

On another note thefuselage.com has been banjaxed for 24 hours, you'd think they'd have invested in more servers for the last few months :)

Lost wasnt just a TV phenomenon, it was an internet one too

Yeah, it's so crazy. This place looks like it's about to explode. Too many reactions and interpretations to take in.

There were over 4000 people on the Lostpedia forums last time I checked. Time to let the dust settle on this one I think.

    +1

I've barely posted in here at all the last week. Which is very unusual for me. I kinda don't know where to start. Need to give the finale time to settle in. I'll gather my thoughts in a couple of weeks and weigh in then.

854 posts in the episode thread, 40,000+ views. less than 24 hours after it first aired.

only Lost could do this. i guarantee that 24 won't be doing this.

Yeah, was a bit more managable at 8 in the morning when there was a relatively smaller amount of people weighing in! The main discussion thread is crazy now.

Deservedly though, it was a fine / awful piece of television which provided a satisfying / disgraceful conclusion to a wonderful / **** show.

The Fuselage.com is starting the stabilise and come back online. Opinions are very much split over there too

Whatever peoples feelings are in relation to the ending we have had 6 years of quality TV. It was the only program that I made a point of watching compared to the rest of the drivel on the telly.

Opinions aren't that split here. 34% of people here rated the finale 10/10, plus another who gave an 8 or 9 rating, while only 13% of people voted 1/10 and they are clearly people who (a) didn't understand or misinterpreted what happened in the final scenes (b) were genuinely disappointed that certain mysteries weren't resolved or didn't like the religious type of resolution and (c) people who don't watch the show but logged on to the forum especially to give a 1/10 rating.

If you look at the people who voted 10/10 they are mostly the regular posters here, while the people who voted 1/10 are mostly people who never post here. So I would reckon that, on this forum at least, the fans of the show were by and large satisfied with the ending.

Good ppints. I forgot about the amount of people who registered to troll/mark it 1 out of ten. Imagine actually taking the time to register and do that :)
