    Hi all,

Looking to form a Metal band in the West Cork area. I'm based in Clonakilty so anyone in Clon, Bandon or Skibbereen would be perfect, or even Cork if you can travel.

A mixture of Thrash, Melodic and Heavy Metal is the direction we want to take. Influences include As I Lay Dying, Rammstein, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Megadeth, Lamb of God, Chimaira and many others.

At the moment it's just myself and I'm primarily focused on Vocals and Lead/Rhythm guitar though I can move to any other position, but either way we need a drummer, a rhythm guitarist and a bassist. We would also be open to keyboards/synth.

I don't currently have a jam space here, but I do have the equipment for most minor gigs minus the drum kit and the P.A.

If you want to hear some of the stuff I've already done, you can hear my current project Thirst For Destruction (based in Limerick, which makes it hard to commit to) here - http://www.myspace.com/thirst4destruction - excuse the bad quality of the recordings and my voice. Those tracks are about a year old and I've come a lot farther with my vocal ability since then and I've also upgraded my recording equipment.

Anyway, I have lots of original material floating around so if you're interested and you're somewhere near West Cork get back to me!

yep, still there, still looking for a group in the Clonakilty area. I have another band based in limerick and we have gigs lined up so that would take priority but I kind of have a lot of free time to devote to both of them so I'd love to spend time a clon-based band

what's your situation? is it just yourself?
