not sure if this scandal has been posted yet, yet more unsprisingly shocking waste of taxpayers money

pretty excessive alright are you sure its taxpayers money though? its a semi state company and i assume it makes a profit as we have a great reputation for horse breeding world wide so it might not receive any tax payers money, if it is tax payers money it should be stopped immedietely

although i dont have a problem with people who need to travel for work charging expenses to their company

Disappointing. I and the GF visited the INS last weekend actually and were very impressed by the setup. I don't think it's as simple as saying "sure it makes a profit, so there's no problem" because it is a semi state and should make the maximum profit for the state possible, as it is essentially owned by the people. If it returns less money to the exchequer than possible, it means the people have to pay higher taxes than necessary. It is OUR resource, to benefit US, not a CEO etc.

I do accept however that the CEO of the INS would surely have to do a lot of travelling, the question is how much I suppose. Seems excessive on the face of it certainly.
