    Hi
I looked at kia ceed, 1.6 diesel, hatch back, 2007, 45k miles. Does anyone have any feed back on this type of car ? I was thinking of getting a focus but the kia has more extras and comes with a 4 year warranty. The garage is looking for €10,800 but he said he would take €10,400 cash. Many thanks

Had one as a hire car for a week in 2008, an average enough drive ( reminded me of an Astra) and as you say has all the extras. I'd say it has sfa resale value compared to a Focus though.

Nothing wrong with the Ceed, doesn't drive as well as the Focus and the quality of the cabin is still lacking a little but given the standard equipement and long warranty it should be still worth considering if you plan to keep it for a good few years.

€10,800 is lowest asking price for a 07 on carzone but I would push hard on getting more than €400 off the asking price. I would try and bargin them down to €10k for it.

You won't be buying this car for performance, but they'll do 200kph on the autobahn with two passengers and a boot full of luggage. Respect!
It was only a rental car, but it came reasonably well spec'd. Some of the fixtures and fittings were a little plasticy and there was an annoying amount of road noise noticeable in the back. Personally I'd go for the Focus, because everything feels a bit more solid and they definintely handle better and are more refined than the Cee'ds. But all in all, the Kia is a good little car...tell them if they want to deal, you've got €10k

So you are going to spend €10K on car and you need to ask whether you should buy the one with the 4 year warranty or the one that has no warranty.. no choice. Kia.
