Saw it on BBC3 or ITV7 or some mad channel about a month or two back. Great film.

Would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet or doesn't know of the story.

    +1

Brian Cox is in it also, he'd be one of my favourite actors.

Love the way the UCI (sorry WCF ;)) is the villain of the piece :)

A little bit sad, didn't realise all his struggles.

Nice to see a cycling film even if it was on so late.

I would recommend the book, which delves deeper into the triumphs and troubled times of Obree.

Would like to read the book-thought the film was a bit dull tbh

I thought this was a really good film, saw it a few months ago!

Had this taped, watched it tonight. Hilarious how the UCI are painted - ze evil German! I was surprised at some of the more dramatic parts that they left out - Hein Verbruggen on the track, and while I don't have the book handy, I think part of Old Faithful snapped at the start of one of the world championships. And not to cover regaining the record? Don't think it did him justice really.

I think this is possibly the worst film I have ever seen.(Slight exaggeration for effect.)
Childish and contrived.A cross between a stupid Ealing comedy and some disney channel biopic. If I could sue somebody to get those two hours back I would.:)
