MK3 Caddy Troubles ...

    I've an 05 MK3 and I've just noticed it's leaking diesel from somewhere around the front of the fuel tank. Now, I only noticed it after filling it to the click but it's never happened before. It leaked heavier when the van was facing downhill (because the diesel is pushing forward?) but the leak seems to have stopped with it on the level.

    Is there a breather pipe on the tank that will blow out excess fuel ?

    Seperately, I think it may also have a boost leak as it whistles very loudly on boost. No smoke or anything else so I don't think it's the turbo. Any other MK3 TDI's I've driven haven't made the same sound.

    It's returning around 40MPG for very conservative driving which is a bit low as they're supposedly capable of 60+MPG ?
