I found out about this today and just thought it was unusual to see and quite under publicized and I'm sure a good few people on here already know about this but for those who don't!

Boyzone's very own Shane Lynch drifts an S15 and participates in British drift competitions.

He's been doing it for a while but maybe I'm the only one who didn't know this?

    Fair play anyway.

Well he could never make a car go in a straight line so I bet he'll be good at this.

Didnt he enter the Mitchelstown forestry rally back around 10 years ago in a Ford Ka and literally crash out on the first corner of the first stage. I'm almost certain he did.

Put in him an actual race with a grid full of cars or in a rally and see how long he lasts.Every rally he has entered,he has crashed out and usually totaled the car in the process.Same with circuit racing too.

hes not a good driver,he likes to think he is,when in fact he is not.

fairly sure he crashed the Ka in the Rally of the Lakes in Killarney a few years back as well.

I think they even had a Ka class just for those cars back then ......its was sooooo boring to watch they couldnt take the corners properly from what I saw. Mainly novice drivers AFAIK.

Fair play to him, he got rich and can afford and enjoys to race, if I had loads of money, I'd be buying cars and entering competitions/races/rallies as well. Its typical Irish begrudgery, he's famous and rich, lets laugh when he crashes and call him an asshole:rolleyes:

i wouldnt call him an asshole as i dont know him, but looking at his track record with cars he seems to be a bad driver with deep pockets imo.

He's actually one of the nicest, most down to earth guys you could meet and he's actually a pretty good driver too.

But yeah, sure lets just abuse him because we've all done better.

I'd love to see the nay sayers control a 500hp skyline on a tight wet circuit and win.

In fairness he did write off said skyline in Trax 08 but thats motorsport

Met him a load of times over in BDC and even recently in IDC, even had a pint with him in Lydden hill, very down to earth and he is a decent driver in drifting, scoring points in every round of super pro so far this year.

thats my opinion and its from personal experience

    haters gonna hate anyway,
