    why bother replying?

sent in a request for them to play stress on the sky, but sadly the days of biffy playing their best songs are over imo, it's their crowd pleasing stuff nowadays.

rephrase that to 'commercial crowd'. biffy were probs the best kept secret in the music scene imo

Think I mentioned this at the time, but when I saw them in November, they (to my fcuking delight) did a little three in a row of oldies (think it was bodies in flight/liberate the illiterate/toys toys toys) which resulted in half the venue going to the loo, the odd person booing, and others looking at each other in disbelief wondering what all the racket is. Then they did Mountains and Machines at the end and the whole fúcking place was singing along, waving their arms around. Thought I was at a Neil Diamond concert or something.

Haha, oh god it's true. Last time I saw them, they played Hero Management and it was like one of those awkward moments when you tell a joke and no-one seems to get it. A lot of people standing around, scratching their heads, looking a bit embarrassed about the whole affair. Oh, Biffy. What will we do with you?

Its not fully their fault that the crowds only know that Biffy were in existance from Puzzle onwards. Love when they crack out stuff from Blackened Sky mostly. The new album grows on me more and more. At least they don't apologise for playing old stuff (I'm looking at Muse here).

I know I'd much prefer more older stuff in sets, but a band that has toured as much as they have and for as long as they have, I'll give them a bit of a break, they not just around for 2 albums then thrown to the dogs.

Im sure that after 15 years the band were delighted to play their new 'hits'. At the end of the day that is what will sustain the band. Im sure that they will throw in old favourites here and there to appease the older fans. Queens of the Stone Age are exactly the same.

    you cant please everybody!

    ...and he takes the bait.

Sorry I didn't know it was a Biffy lovefest.

    I won't comment next time
