    Hello,

    just downloaded skype there :)

I understand that it's free if both have skype which is good, but I also called a few mobile numbers for free aswell :O no charge at all (didn't buy credits for it btw)

so does anyone know what's the story ? Is it always free like this,or is it something like 10 free mins a month to mobile numbers etc ?

    Thanks alot

Mobiles SHOULD be 16c a minute on Skype. Dunno. Let the good times roll :)

It could be the €1 free credit you get when you open a skype account

How can you use Skype video calling on the iPhone if you cant face the camera and see who you're talking to at the same time?

Maybe iPhone 4G will have a camera at the front?

Overall there is some very standard stuff that other phone manufacturers have had for ages but Apple are only introducing them piece-meal with every new release!

That is definitely the most annoying thing about Apple - it's a few revisions before the device is as complete as it should have been at launch, and by then the rest of the market has moved on...

Still, word on the street is that iPhone 4 will have a front facing camera.

Has anyone used the video function on Skype with a 3GS? I can't seem to find any video call option.

there is none, and if there was you'd need to juggle a mirror with your 3gs so you could see the video at the front and have the camera pointed at you at the back :p
