I know the history course is notoriously difficult to predict and people are telling horror stories of wrong predictions of the past but could anyone just tell me what they themselves are studying? How many topics from each would be safe?

Would really appreciate it because I keep on switching from being confident about the paper to being a complete mess! Its the exam I'm most stressed out for.

    I'm doing Sovereignty and Partition
    Dictatorship and Democracy
    Division and Realignment

    Dictatorship and Democracy:
    Fascism
    Germany 33-39
    Nazis (Church-State relations, Propaganda, etc)
    All Communism
    Britain Between the Wars

    USA:
    Economy
Culture (American Way of Life, Consensus, Religion, etc)
    Vietnam
    Racial Conflict and Montgomery
    Moon Landing and IT/Military Technology
I think that's it. I know it's a bit weird that I'm leaving out foreign policy but I just hate it so there ya go.

    Sovereignty and Partition:
I have no idea. Should probably decide soon. So far:
    Treaty Negotiations
    Civil War
    Rise of SF
Language Religion and Culture (and E Congress)
Ireland in WW2 and Belfast Blitz
Economic and Social policies of FF and CnG

They have to examine at least two of the three prospectuses (prospecti?!) so if you're stuck you could just learn the society and economy and culture and religion bits...in the Irish book that's only five chapters!

    History grrrr.

    Sovereignity/Partition
Treaty (War of Indo and Civil War included for background and conclusion purposes)
Cumann na nGaedhl, their economic policies and Anglo-Irish relations
Fianna Fail, econony and Anglo Irish
Eucharistic Congress (cos it's dead easy)

    Dictatorship/Democracy
    Fascism- Mussolini, Hitler
    Communism
    Britain inter-war years, Jarrow March

    America
Foreign policy - including ALL the silly wars (ok, well...the two of them)
Causes and effects of the boom
    Civil Rights Movement
Maybe the Moon landing? Not sure though

I think I'm doing ok so far.
