A father has accidentally hit and killed his son after the young boy got out of the family's car in northwestern NSW.

Police said they believe the three-year-old got out of his father's Toyota Landcruiser table top 4WD when the vehicle stopped at a property near Brewarrina shortly after 9am (AEST) on Friday. [more]
