You can't really get to the threshold of 10 becuase the fence extends about 1km further west than the runway itself. There's no parking spots on the southern side and the northern side has a solid wooden fence.

Your best bet is to set up along the road on the western edge of the perimiter fence that runs perpendicular to the runway, under the approach. Involves getting an 83 towards Harristown or a 40 or 40B I think - double check on Dublin Bus website first! AP park up there very reguarly though and will tell you to feck off quite happily.

Yeah I was out at 28 last two weeks and I was hoping that 28 would be the active tomorrow, as I love getting photos of a/c coming over the threshold and spooling up!

    Thanks both of you :)

With 10 in use, if you go to the now-closed industrial park entrance directly opposite the end of 10 (on the south side of the runway), there are high grass banks that offer a largely unobstructed view of landing and departing aircraft. This is about a mile west of the entrance to Harristown bus garage and this is a fast and busy road. You could also climb the bank just after the entrance to the long-stay (Blue) car park and walk along that as far as you wish, since it is parallel to the runway all the way.
