    Hey guys,

    There is a Hope Foundation Fundraiser taking place in the Cobblestones Pub (Smithfield) this Saturday (May 22nd) and your help is needed!

    Details for the gig are below so feel free to spread the word.......

    The second leg of The Civilians Greatest Hits tour takes place in the Cobblestone May 22nd. This will be their last gig for at least a year!!

    The line up features;

    The Civilians;
    Will be playing their last gig for a long long time. The three piece girl band from West Cork love fun and love music and just have fun making music. Childhood friends, the girls finally got their act together to create their eclectic sounds. Best described as an experimental, shoegazing, transcendental sounding outfit.

    The Hassle Merchants;

    Formed in 2005 Hassle Merchants have become one of Irelands “must see acts”. Whether staging one of their own street gigs, a “Merchantsville” club night or touring the UK, they bring their own brand of energy fuelled alternative punk where ever they go. A band known for their relentless gigging and adrenaline filled live shows, They were crowned Connected magazines “Band of the Year” in 2007 while also packing the stage at the Hard Working Class Heroes festival the same year.

    Lauren Guillery;

    Renowned for her energetic performances, Lauren Guillery was awarded ‘Best International’ at the Balcony TV music awards in 2007. Residing in Ireland for over a decade, the feisty French guitarist has shared stages with international artists Ungdomskulen, Les Plastiscines, God Is An Astronaut and Cathy Davey amongst others. She is currently working with an array of musicians to record a follow-up album to her sold-out debut E.P. ‘Listen!’ from which the above songs are taken.

    All the proceeds will go directly to the Hope Foundation so please come and help spread the word :)
