    Just watched this last night,hav'nt seen it in years........great film.When it first came out it nearly destroyed turkeys tourist industry.
    LOL......everyone was afraid to go there .
    When he visited Turkey in 2004, screenwriter Oliver Stone, who won an Academy Award for the film, made an apology for the portrayal of the Turkish people in the film.

    Anyone else know of any other films that had a similar impact , unfairly damaging a countries image. (not including Borat).

    Yea i forgot about that one,....tried to block it out of my mind,till you reminded me ........GRRRRR!.

    Although i never seen sean connery as happy as he was in that film.
