Telephone and Broadband providers

    Does anyone out there know if there is a body/association/ help centre where one can avail of honest and exact advice about the most reliable and competant Telephone and Broadband Provider?

    COMREG only lists the vaious company's prices and various services, but there is no survey with results showing you which is best all round for good product/customer service/technical support. That is what people need before taking out contracts, dealing then for a year with inefficient and inferior service. It seems to me that we, the Irish public are left with a trial and error situation as far as this service is concerned, or can anyone advise on who to contact to gain the best impartial advice? Do we have the equivalent of 'Which' here, a UK company who tests and lists all services and items by their quality not just by price? Why should we be expected to buy blind so to speak? During these difficult economic times especially, people need more consumer advice. We just cannot afford to line the pockets of the unscrupulous. Look where that got us.
