In Paris for the weekend and going to the HCF .... any recommendations where any Irish rugby followers will be drinking Friday night/Saturday before the match?

One tip, always drink at the bar in Paris as they charge you twice as much to serve the drink at a table.
The Pigalle and Notre dam areas are usually the more popular Irish areas.

If you are only there for a short hop and dont want to go searching endlessly for pubs, kitty o'sheas is a central Irish pub on Rue des Capucines. Get the metro (your hotel will probably have metro maps) to Madelaine or Opera and its a short walk from there. I was there a few days ago and at €7.50 a pint I didnt stay too long. At the same time its easy to get to Kittys from Stade de France. Guaranteed to have Irish in it aswell.
There are some trendy (and cheap) places near Stalingrad if you want to have a wander around the place.

Head over to the Quartier Latin if you dont mind wandering. There are a few places that do "happy hours" all night where a specific beer will be a fiver for a pint.
