Yes I know ! there are way too many ads on TV on certain channels but just noticed that there was not one single advert between Eastenders and Fair City on RTE this evening.

I thought this would have been the prime advert slot of the evening. So.. how come not one single ad? Are RTE pricing themselves out of the market? Is this not the prime advert slot of the evening? Would there be another reason for not a single advert at this time? Seems a bit strange to me.

Maybe they had too many ads on earlier and were running out of time and had to cut straight to the next show.

I remember them announcing one night to stay tuned as they were going to the next show straight away. Thought it was strange at the time....maybe it will be regular thing :D

Imagine no ads and just loads of tv shows YaY! :pac:

Running short on time, because Eastenders is 28-odd minutes due to being on BBC yet RTÉ still try to show it in 30 minutes with an ad break in the middle of it.

Discovery channel don't have ad's between shows anymore, they just go straight from one show into the next with a little 10 second "whats coming up".
