I'm glad to say that after job seeking for a year or so, I have finally got a full time, permanent job, which I start in just under two weeks. I'm thrilled, just as I was beginning to give up hope of ever being employed I got the magic call.

    Congratulations.

My OH said I was like a different person when I finally was offered a job. Hopefully things will start changing for you like not feeling guilty about getting a takeaway and silly things like that.

    I know I do.

I did keep a count and it was 175 applications that I recorded, this didn't include all the networking, asking friends or people I knew if they knew of any work going, heck I even asked the letting agency I rent from if they knew anyone who needed someone.

Thanks Bertie, I did feel guilty about stuff like that but the biggest worry was that all my clothes were falling apart and soon 'making do' was not an option. I feel a huge weight of my shoulders.

Is it? The can't start me on the Monday anyway because that's this month(May) and they are certainly not going to pay me a months salary for one days work.

    Unfortunately. :D
